The band consists of members covering a wide range of ages and is split approximately 50/50 male and female members.

Our musical interest maintains a great fellowship between members and we consider this to be the key to our continued success.

The band competes at several local and national Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA) competitions each year at Grade 3A level and has enjoyed several prizes at the majors in our grade.

The band is also keen to broaden its horizons and travels abroad to compete against some of our foreign competitors on their home turf. In recent years the band has travelled to Ireland, France and Copenhagen where the pipe band scene is flourishing!
